“Discernment is everything!”
I see more and more the importance of the discernment of the spirits that I deal with in everyday life. In order to advance in spiritual life, I have been led to be interested in Ignatian Spirituality. Surprisingly, I have been exposed to that for a long time. Karl Rahner’s Anonymous Christians was my thesis for the bachelor degree and I value his view on God’s self-giving for the world where we can find God in all things. Whatever humanizes divinizes! What a beautiful statement!
So I take courage to jump into the Spiritual Exercise Online provided by Creighton University, so that I can be more attentive to the presence of God and his goodness in me, others and the world. It will take 34 weeks to finish the course and I want to invite you to join me throughout the course. I set up the submenu called “Online Spiritual Exercise” under Journal. You can find the material and my view of the week.
What you can do is …
1. Following the same course I am taking or
2. Reading it and taking whatever helps you to grow in spirituality or
3. Being a witness to my spiritual journey as a companion
May God’s abundant grace guide Fr. H.Paul to be human, humble and holy!
